tonight

went to jade monkey and saw hello minnesota. Aliese said hello to me from the stage...that was nice....but then again she said hello to pretty much everyone in the room...not james though, secretly he was jealous.

After minnesota i was really hungry, i had already eaten dinner but i'm really hungry these days cos it's winter i guess. I can tell you the facts, when you are cold the brain tries to warm you up. It does this by making you hungry, then you to eat and when that food is digested you generate heat . One would think the key to dieting was just get yourself a big fucking coat, some gloves and scarfe? seems logical.

So i walked down rundle street to get a bight to eat, on the way i saw a televsion screen in cibo that said essendon 123 crows 84, continue to the two felafel shops. Now this, it seems, is quite a dilemma. I wanted a felafel and i had been told that felafel king was the key to good felafel whereas the felafel house was the key to good yiros...seems confusing because they both claim to be the masters of felafel making. However the real dilemma stems from the fact that the felafel house was there first and the felafel king who apparently have better felafels setup shop right next door. Now that is just damn rude!! I cant help but think about my days working at video mania and how busy we were until brand spanking new video ezy opened up across the road and stole all of our customers. Come to think of it now i wish i had bought my felafel at the felafel house...besides the felafel house offers entertainment while you wait...its amazing how entertained people are by those photos.

So james and i sat in the felafel king and ate our food. We then discussed carbohydrates and the atkins diet.. he said that he saw some television program that said the atkins diet is bad....i can tell you there are a lot of bread and pasta companies who love to to tell you the atkin's diet is bad...it's rubbish! I once went to a seminar on flour milling science, at the end they brought in some chick that totally irrelevantly starts going on about how "scary" the atkins diet is...lets just say the place offering the course made all of their money from the fact that people like to make and eat bread. The course was also filled with John Howard loving red necks but that's beside the point. They all bought it too, but that's beside the point. I dont know ever since that post on jeem i feel like i'm not allowed to say anything left wing cos who ever wrote it made a good point. It actually sounded like James' point of view written by someone else.

James and i also had a conversation about Kurt Cobain and how he once said that he painted on the back of board games cos he couldn't afford canvas? go figure, the last board game i bought cost me $90. I hear cardboard boxes are cheap. Anyway if he didn't kill himself he could have bought himself billions of canvases.

We then went home and on our way home decided to see the new shotz..The new shotz looks like the old shotz but a lot newer, cleaner and smaller. Which is pretty much what i thought was missing from the old shotz. Unfortunately none of these things made the new shotz any better and the place held my attention for as long as it took to decide there wasn't enough light for a foosball table. The ceilings are a little low too.

And so now i'm back home again...cold and hungry. The boys came home from the footy very drunk, they were singing some bullshit like frenzal rhomb in the lounge room and now the pinny is entertaining most of them...Belfrage just came in asked this question "tanya. do you have a bucket or something quite deep that i can put water in"... i'm bored i wish I smoked dope...instead i have this blog.
