I've been making a conscious effort to remember my dreams now. Not sure why...Jung has some theory that there are hidden messages from our subconscious in them. I guess i wouldn't mind knowing what those messages are, maybe they can guide me to make a decision about my life now that rock star is no longer on the cards.
It's really not that hard to remember them as long as you try to as soon as you wake up...
in last night’s dream maja, james and I played madcap marathon. It’s some game I used to have as a kid which had small obstacle courses involving a small ball that you had to get from a to b in the quickest time. It’s kinda hard to explain but it’s kinda a board game in the hungry hippos vain. We were playing life-size mad-cap marathon and it was in a wet n’ wild (as in water world- gold coast) type setting. I was kinda teaching maja and james the rules as we went. Anyway maja’s ball fell off the course so I told her that meant she had to start again. Then my ball fell off course and I thought noone noticed so I just picked it up and continued but then James asked me why I didn’t have to start again.
luckily my dream ended there..
In the next sequence I was walking down the street (I think it was the parade, near woods st) and some funeral like procession with a black land rover leading the way started coming down the street with crows paraphenalia all over it. Everyone following had the crows gear and were chanting. The rover was stopping every 10 meters and letting off black smoke from an exhaust on the roof of the car. At first I thought I read sign at the front of the rover saying something derrogatory about the crows and tried to convince passers-by that it was some weird game power fans were playing at. Then a crows supporter showed me an article in the paper saying that a geelong player kicked andrew mcleod in the head and it meant he couldn’t play for the first 5 weeks of the season and that this was some sort of mourning ceremony. I remember thinking it was a little over the top.
Weird. I took particular notice of some power caps in match room last night and i asked nai about the crows geelong score yesterday but i haven't thought of madcap marathon in years.
