idiots
who needs em? At the request of one, I decided to enable my anonymous comments…now all of a sudden I have lots of anonymous comments on my blog. This anonymous person now has me completely baffled as to who it could be?!? And so to the mystery person, a threat for you, I can disable the anonymous postings just as easy as I can enable them, I find the word ‘eggman’ offensive.
So it seems that poker is becoming a popular thing! Whoa!! Really? A certain anonymous person has expressed interest in partaking in the matchroom event, this person has only watched poker on television and thinks knowing terms like ‘on the button’ and ‘under the gun' makes him a pro. He is planning on winning the event by using intimidation…one professed tactic is ‘the standing tactic’ that is the tactic where you stand while everbody else sits….little does he know that most people stand when they realise their odds of winning are less than 50%..perhaps it will work by serving as a reverse psychology bluff tactic. Nevertheless I think he needs some poker 101. Do you run them for beginners RK?
So I would have liked to go to poker 101 but I didn’t see the post on rk’s blog until today. How bout Monday nights? Since we are communicating through blogs now, I unlike some others took the wallpaper comment as a positive thing. Wallpaper is nice and decorative to look at but you cant do much with it….i’m happy with this and don’t be telling me otherwise…and it’s true everyone does own a monopoly board but mine is in tatters with missing community chest and chance cards and spilt cordial all over the face from the time I got so angry at my brother and sister for not letting me play that I got my glass of cordial and threw its contents onto the board…now I need a new monopoly board. See I’d learnt my lesson a little later in life when my friends put me in the same situation and I decided that flipping the board with all the little houses scattering everywhere served the same purpose without the lasting effects. The simple moral of this story is that if there is game going on, Tani plays. period….or else. Exclamation mark.

it was no good, if i remember correctly, i had park lane and bond st prior to the board being tipped up.
this incident was a few years before the monopoly debacle, which caused me to retire from monopoly, and i haven't played since.
i take offence by most of this post. i hearby submit my resignation from fame.

Ok, I haven't played that game for some time now, but beleive that I can cut it witht he best.
I forward a motion for a 4 way game for $50 per person, total prize pool of $200, winner gets $130, 2nd gets $70, 3rd and 4th gets laughed at for the rest of existence and should never play again.
I once played monopoly and in my first few rounds of the board kept landing on utilities, train stations and chance cards. while my opponents snapped up every bit of property on the board and proceeded to buy houses and hotels. it was tough from there on trying only to land on railway crossings etc. i've since decided that monopoly is a game without strategy and hence not worth 2 hours of my time. After all its about who can roll the dice the best and land on the best properties first. Risk, lets not even go there.
