serial killer
so there is this crazy guy round Adelaide who is very much into his bands…. last night I was talking to him, and on two separate occasions without an appropriate segue he brought up serial killers and knew facts about each serial killer in south australia. He said he was in band and he wrote a song about snowtown and sang something like ‘in snowtown don’t go to the bank’
brilliant.
Now I don’t know and have never met anybody who talks about serial killers twice in one conversation…rarely do I get a conversation about it once. After I finished talking to him D and I looked at each other eyes wide open and at the same time declared “oh my god that guy is a serial killer”. D then pointed out that as we were leaving jive one week earlier he shouted to us ‘don’t run into any serial killers’, I had forgotten about that. Seriously who says that? AAAAND when he laughs he laughs likesome sort of cartoon villain ‘MWA-HA-HA-HA!’. Anyway I decided last night that I would blog this because if i’m found in some barrel half corroded by acid then you know where to find him.

was he the guy with the big nose?
nah he wasn't at our gig, the guy with the big nose is one of our fans actually probably our only one
By all accounts, Ted Bundy had hordes of women lusting after him. What's this guy's excuse?
Still, it beats crushes on AFL players if you ask me. At least interest in serial killers has an element of intrigue. I'm not sure I'd go so far as to label him a serial killer. Don't you have to methodically plan and kill several people to be classed as one?
I don't know. Give it time and see if his face makes the front page for anything other than shite lyrics.
I totally love reading about serial killers. I love reading about their histories, their strategies and the whole nasty shebang.
I dont aspire to becoming a serial killer, but for some morbid reason, I dig reading about crime.
www.crimelibrary.com is a great site for it!
:)
In my humble opinion, you can usually pidgeon-hole people like that into two catergories:
1) The gothy type, who are just into it because they think death is cool and all. And because if "normal" people think they might snap and kill someone someday, that is liek sooo c0000l. I'm a scary goth and all. woooooo Ph34r M3 etc etc.
2) The normal, wouldn't-pick-them-from-a-crowd type... Who just talk about serial killers because they think it makes them cool and dark and mysterious, etc.
Acutally, I just noticed 1 & 2 are the same attention-seeking antics dressed in different clothes. Forget I split them at all.
I would suspect real serial killers are unlikely to talk about their passion with friends. Something about jail time probably doesn't seem all that appealing. But hey, I haven't researched it or anything.
well ok my guess is he isn't one yet but subconsciously he really wants to be one. he fits neither of your categories, ...to me it's just not normal to insert 'dont run into any serial killers mwahahaha' in your goodbyes
