i remembered my username - I'm back in action.

for a bit of nostalgia i went to the violent femmes last night. they were kinda old, made me feel old. Kinda felt like one of those people who go to the big day out to see joe strummer play rock the kazbah. is that who sings it? oh well you know what i mean: put in a token old band and then all your token old supporters come to the party.

Everyone there knew every word to every song so people were going nuts. I'm not sure how much slap bass solos appeal to me but it was pretty fucking good anyway.

Got to bed pretty late and then got done by the am pm on my alarm. It appears as though my alarm is set to go off at 6:30 pm and therfore woke up late and hence am taking a sickie. Have a bit of a sore throat from yelling at femmes concert though.
