so last night i was wondering why dan kelly and the alphamales are not more popular, damn they have some good songs and damn they puts on a good show...i've decided it's his hair quiff and pointy shoes, combined with the fact the band has a name that goes i am a man, here is my name and here is the rest of my band and they are called the whatevers. this is not ok unless you are stephen malkmus. Anyway hair quiffs, dress pants and pointy shoes. You're not a swamp band, you have tunes with cocksucker and motherfucker sung in falsetto, so dont dress like a serious man who thinks laughing is for children.

Speaking of laughing, i saw a guy in the crowd that i am familiar with, he's a man about town, but i've never seen the guy smile or laugh so everytime dan kelly said something funny which was numerous times throughout the gig, i kept quickly looking over at the dead pan man to see if he would....but he never did. how fuckn shit must life be if you cant ever smile.
