honestly sometimes i think about my life as a movie or a book and wonder where i would find me, my shallow hope is that it's somewhere near reality bites but i fear its actually closer to sweet valley high.

dont read it all, unless you like poetry...

Poem lyrics of Ode On Melancholy by John Keats.
No, no! go not to Lethe, neither twistWolf's-bane, tight-rooted, for its poisonous wine;Nor suffer thy pale forehead to be kissedBy nightshade, ruby grape of Proserpine;Make not your rosary of yew-berries,Nor let the beetle nor the death-moth beYour mournful Psyche, nor the downy owlA partner in your sorrow's mysteries; For shade to shade will come too drowsily,And drown the wakeful anguish of the soul. But when the melancholy fit shall fallSudden from heaven like a weeping cloud,That fosters the droop-headed flowers all,And hides the green hill in an April shroud; Then glut thy sorrow on a morning rose,Or on the rainbow of the salt sand-wave,Or on the wealth of globed peonies;Or if thy mistress some rich anger shows,Emprison her soft hand, and let her rave,And feed deep, deep upon her peerless eyes. She dwells with Beauty -- Beauty that must die;And Joy, whose hand is ever at his lipsBidding adieu; and aching Pleasure nigh,Turning to poison while the bee-mouth sips;Ay, in the very temple of delightVeiled Melancholy has her sovran shrine,Though seen of none save him whose strenuoustongueCan burst Joy's grape against his palate fine; His soul shall taste the sadness of her might,And be among her cloudy trophies hung.

Apparently what he is trying to say is to recognize happiness we must experience sadness, yes good point and if I were as inefficient with the English language I would write a poem titled ‘ode on idiots’ to describe a similar phenomenon…

idiots don’t bother me at all. I am *genuinely* content that they exist because it allows me to recognise appreciate good people, real people. However just knowing the idiots are lurking somewhere and being confronted with the odd one is enough to appreciate what might be taken for granted. I went to transmission last night and ordinarily the lovely company i was in could polish a turd and make it shine but sometimes there are just too many turds and not enough polish.

you know how they have lion v crocodile documentaries on the discovery channel... well last night n* and j* were in my room last night doing epilady v hair straightener. I think hair straightener probably wins, except epilady could do a lot of damage while hair straightener is heating up.
